August 5th -12th — PARTY IN THE USA/ try not to die from Atlanta’s heat
August 13th — Return to new life in Ibaraki.
August 14th ~~~Explore best way to get to the ocean by bicycle. Eat loads of fresh fish and veggies. Finish editing my manuscript and become a hermit.
It is summer. It’s hot. I KNOW.
Now stop telling me and let me enjoy breathing without feeling as if my lungs are going to crack into a million pieces of dry ice shards.
Songs that have always been there for me. Songs that I can listen to for hours, days, even weeks, on repeat. Songs that hold me steady when I feel as if I am going to float away.
I love the trailer for this book. I don’t remember the book being so steamy though.
And I can’t wait for the next one to come out.
I’ve been thinking about this book recently because not only do I love it, but it inspired my most recent novel, which I just re-read for the first time in 9 months. Current plan will reflect my writing process: one play through of ‘The Cults’ will equal one editing session much as it did one writing session back in November when I wrote the first draft.
