The house had no windows, only artificial lights hanging from the ceilings. Long spider like legs dangled from above, plunging down, suddenly stopping and hanging precariously above everyone’s heads. Each studio was outfitted with glass bulbs mounted on extendable arms, stretching out from walls, reaching and wrapping around to illuminate the canvas with the best possible reflections and refractions.

      It’s from the moon novel that I’ve been playing around with since the summer. I finally got a plot for it and started to be more serious about writing it.
